Ecocapsule : A low-energy house packed into a compact form

A little house that can be used in multiple ways? That would be such a great house for sure.

Developers at Nice Architects unveiled an Eco-friendly capsule that can be set up anywhere in the world from mountains, plain land, forest, beach and even on your own house roof. They called it Ecocapsule.

It's equipped with solar cells, 750 watt wind turbine and rainwater collection to help you sustain electricity and water that can support you almost year-round in many off-grid locations. In other words, you can live almost a full year in an off-grid area without having water and energy shortage issues.

Ecocapsule could be used as a camp house

Do you love going out and camping in the middle of nowhere? in a place where you can't find any other human being around... just you and nature. Ecocapsule is great when it comes to camping, and can be used as a little camp house which you can take with you wherever you decide to camp.

When you know that this little house is capable of providing you with water and electricity, you can set a camp-fire, sit back, relax and enjoy sleeping under the beautiful stars.

It can be transported easily

The Eco-capsule fits into a standard shipping container, and can be shipped, airlifted, towed by a normal car or even pulled by pack animals. You can consider it as a moving house that you can live in wherever you go.

From the inside

Ecocapsule contains a folding bed, working and dining place, 2 openable windows, toiled and shower, kitchenette, an internal flexible storage, an entrance to the inside and an external storage that could be accessed from outside.

The bonus idea

Seems like Ecocapsule can be considered as a little house for 1 or 2 people. Although it contains solar and wind energy generators, it's price is not too very expensive. There would be some custom versions of this capsule that costs a little bit more money, but the standard one costs almost 2,426 Dollars ( $ ), plus shipping costs.

What i am trying to say here is that those Eco-capsules could also be used as temporary little houses for poor people, or it could be given as a special gift for a homeless person.. it would be super nice, right?

It can help reduce the number of homeless people, and also give them the opportunity to have a fresh start and improve their lives. Plus, it's nature friendly and would help decrease pollution and save more power and water.
