#1 Eliminate the " Yes, But "
Be honest with yourself whether you want to do something or not. Don't pretend that you're ready and then come up with an excuse for not doing it.

Start your day with important things only, postpone non-important things such as reading email and checking your social network accounts to the evening or your spare time.
#3 Close your mouth and listen
Pay attention and listen to what other people around you are saying, listen to understand and learn not to just reply. When you speak you're only repeating what you already know, but when you listen you actually learn something new.

#4 Don't complain while you can't do anything
Stop blaming others and complain about their actions, everybody is responsible about himself. Start by changing yourself and the things you can actually change, you'll notice the change around you sooner or later.
#5 Play to win
In order for you to be a better person there is no need for another person to fail. Don't feel and act superior around other people just to make yourself feel better.
#6 Pay attention to your health
Finally, you cannot be a better person without having a healthy body and mind, those are like your tools that you gonna use to improve yourself and become a better person.
